Direct Assistance to the most needy

Proyecto Visión, through the St. Louise Eye Clinic in Mekelle, is responsible for the eye health of approximately a quarter of Tigray’s population: primary care, cataracts, trachoma, strabismus, refraction testing, provision of glasses, and more.

Proyecto Visión funds the clinic’s maintenance, provides medications and surgical materials, and equips and maintains the clinic’s two operating rooms. Proyecto Visión teams operate in the clinic and assume its medical management.
